Zhiguo Ma is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Law, Xi’ an Jiaotong University, as well as a practicing lawyer, arbitrator, and intellectual property judicial expert. He serves as the Director of the Intellectual Property Research Institute, Head of the Intellectual Property Research Center, and Director of the Belt and Road Intellectual Property International Cooperation and Exchange Center at Xi’ an Jiaotong University. He also leads the Shaanxi Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Intellectual Property Protec tion Base.
Currently, he holds the positions of Vice President of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies’ Traditional Medicine Intangible Cultural Heritage Industry Branch, Vice President of its Intellectual Property Committee, Vice President of the China Science and Technology Law Association, and Executive Council Member of the China Intellectual Property Law Research Association. Professor Ma is the Chief Expert of the Major National Social Science Fund Project “Research on Special Legislation for the Protection of Trad tional Chinese Medicine Knowledge” and the Lead Expert for the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine’ s project “Research on the Drafting of Regulations on the Protection of Traditional Chinese Medicine Knowledge.”
