Heads the IP Group at Amneal Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. In his current role, Purab has built a strong IP team 
which works towards aligning IP strategy with business objective. It involves, providing end-to-end IP guid
ance to R&D, Cross-functional and Business team on API, Finished product, Device and certain trademark 
matters. Deeply involved in IP strategies for new geographies, enabling expansion in India & International 
markets. Large part of his time goes towards ensuring creative, business-focused solutions to resolve IP 
disputes. His interactive & collaborative approach, enviable perspective on business intelligence and ability to connect the dots has helped the organization achieve strategic business goals or identify new business/ growth opportunities. 

Prior to joining Amneal, He was associated with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories & Wockhardt Research Centre. He holds Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. He is a registered patent agent with the Indian patent office and holds a diploma in patents law from the NALSAR University, Hyderabad
