Dr. Xie has served as a senior patent lawyer and Chinese intellectual property manager in Fortune 500 multinational corporations, accumulating over ten years of experience in innovative drug projects and core business strategies. He has a global perspective in intellectual property strategy and has represented well-known companies such as Novartis, BASF, and Dow Chemical in planning multiple patent protection activities in Greater China. The famous cases he has represented include the patent dispute case of Novartis pharmaceutical Gleevec in China, as well as the "non retroactivity of law" case in the examination guidelines.

Dr. Xie obtained the qualification to practice as a patent agent in China in 2003 and has been practicing in a patent firm for over 10 years, directly serving clients in various fields such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals. Before assuming the position of intellectual property, he worked at Fosun Pharma for 8 years, leading the R&D department to develop nucleic acid diagnostic products and winning the Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Pioneer Award. He graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor's degree and Chinese Academy of Sciences with a doctor's degree in microbiology.
