Dr. Omkar Acharya (Ph.D.) is a renowned Patent and Trademarks Attorney and a Member of the Bar Council of Gujarat, India.
Academically, Dr. Acharya holds a Ph.D. in Climate Change Impacts Management from Gujarat University. He is a Post Graduate of Science with a specialty in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from NIMS University. He is a Graduate of Science from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. Apart from this, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Gujarat University.
Dr. Acharya is the key management leader and is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, client‐specific approach, and managing business & associates dealing with the company. Dr. Acharya is an influential manager with the ability to lead and motivate by possessing great communication skills and taking a holistic approach to managing the Company’s domestic and International operations.

Being an Executive Director at H K Acharya & Company, Dr. Acharya is creating complete strategic plans for the attainment of goals and objectives for efficient services to clients. His virtuosity includes arraigning patent applications, litigation strategies, and prosecution detailing conclusions on patent issues for national and international clients. He is also responsible for giving the proper strategic direction and constructively implementing law enforcement to foresee clients’ interests within and outside the territory of India. Dr. Acharya responsibly handles clients' business development models in terms of IP regarding prosecution in various territories along with India through his in‐depth capacity to solve complex problems.
Dr. Acharya as a stakeholder regularly visits and is being invited to The IP Office, in India regarding views and comments on various amendments proposed by the Government IP cell. By his excellence in business development strategies, he is being invited to deliver lectures on Foreign Trades, Business Development, and IP promotion at various Government and Semi‐Government organizations. Being actively involved in the IP regime Dr. Acharya is a member of various known IP Associations namely INTA, ECTA, BIO, AIPPI, and APAA, and a corporate member at USIIC.
