Song Jiangxiu is now the second level inspector and first level inspector of the Medical and Biological Invention Examination Department of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the leading talent of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, and the bureau level business guidance expert. Participated in the fourth revision of the Patent Examination Guidelines of the China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2023, and was responsible for formulating the "Several Provisions on the Examination of Patent Applications in the Field of Traditional Chinese Medicine" of the special chapter on traditional Chinese medicine; and was responsible for formulating the guidelines and examination operating procedures for the examination of patent applications in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. Responsible for and undertook more than 20 special projects of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission and other ministries and commissions. He has authored works such as "Technical Guidelines for Intellectual Property Protection and Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine", "Intellectual Property Protection of Traditional Chinese Medicine", and "Essentials for Writing Patent Application Documents in the Field of Pharmaceutical Biology", and has published over 20 academic papers.
