Dr. Feng Xu is the VP of Intellectual Property at AstraZeneca China, responsible for creating, developing and implementing IP strategies in China and Asia area.  For over 20 years, Dr. Xu has served the pharmaceutical industry in the U.S. and China. He has counselled a variety of pharmaceutical companies, from small start-ups to large multinational corporations.  
He has successfully advised clients on designing, defending, enforcing and licensing IP portfolios over a wide range of key innovative pharmaceutical products.  His legal practice and experiences include developing corporate patent strategies development, Hatch-Waxman litigation, patent enforcement actions and patent invalidation proceedings.  
Dr. Xu is a U.S. qualified patent attorney (NY, CT & USPTO), with a Ph.D. in life science from Florida State University and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
