Lei Liu is currently IP Director at Innovent Biologics, responsible for patent establishment & evaluation, layout policies, risk treatment and trademark management. Mr.Liu received LLM degree from Marshall law school of America, LLM degree from CUPL( China University of Political Science and Law), and pharmacy bachelor degree from Sichuan University. Before he joined Innovent Biologics, he worked for State Intellectual Property Office of P.R. China for almost 20 years and was assigned to serve as examiner, deputy chief. He mainly focused on patent substantive examination , reexamination , invalid case hearing, he also held academic meetings or participated more than ten IP macro-policy& patent review research studies. Mr.Liu published a number of academic papers, concentrated on intellectual property at innovative drugs, in particular with patent protection& design around, patent challenge. Mr.Liu obtained the qualification of patent agent, and was selected as a high level talent of the National Intellectual Property Administration. At present, Mr.Liu is as a patent leading talent in Jiangsu province and Gusu area.
